     Kindergarten and 1st/2nd Grade Combo

     Each camp is Mon-Thurs

    Each Monday, I evaluate the new group to understand their skill levels and then tailor the lessons accordingly. As a result, the camps are not sequential and do not repeat. You’re welcome to enroll your child in any or all sessions that best fit your schedule.

     All materials will be provided by me.

         

Good To Know

To keep my schedule fair and consistent for all families (and myself!), my policy is that appointments that are missed without advance notice are not eligible for reimbursement or rescheduling. After 10 minutes, if the child does not show and there’s no communication, I will assume that you have cancelled our appointment.

Parents paying out-of-pocket, Zelle is my preferred method of payment, but I also have Venmo. I also prefer to be paid after each session (it makes bookkeeping much easier for me), but if that's not possible, please let me know what works for you. I can be flexible.

 

MVA parents, please request and submit tutoring services at least 10 school days in advance to allow ample time to process the Enrichment Certificate (EC). MVA’s policy is that tutoring should not begin until an Enrichment Certificate (EC) is received by the tutor.  The EC’s are sent by email to the parent and tutor. I will save dates on my calendar for your child so that you’ll have the schedule that works for you, but tutoring will begin after the EC is received. For example, if you would like tutoring in March, please submit the request for my services by middle of February.

Please be mindful of your charter school’s vacation dates and do not select those dates when requesting services.  If you would like tutoring services during vacation dates, please contact me to discuss payment options.

Hot Tips to Get the Most from Your Child's Tutoring Session:

• Provide a meal or snack and drinks before tutoring.  Even a smoothie can be very distracting for a child.

• Start your zoom session a few minutes early in case there are any surprise downloads, internet issues, or other problems.

• Remind your child to use the bathroom before a class or tutoring session.
